Where do most avlanches occur?
Avlanches occur everywhere, even on the roof of your house. So really; anywhere there is snow there is a possibility of an avlanche.
Are there different types of Avlanches?
Loose snow avlanches, are ones witch gain more snow as they go downt he slope. Powder snow avlanches, witch move with increasing speed down the slope., Their speed can reach 300km/h. And slab avlanches, witch is when a stiff layer of snow moves off the top layer of snow, these are usually the deadliest.

What Causes Avalanches?
Many things can cause avlanches; for example, Weather, snowpacks, and terrians are just a few. Weather is one of the main things that can cause an avlanche, for one it creates the snow, and 2, if a sudden change in weather many things could go wrong. Snowpacks are layers of snow that have settled over time. If the bond between the layers are weak that's when most avlanches occur. Terrians, if a slope is too steep you can usually expect an avalanche to occur. On most low-angled slopes snow can start moving, but only if heavly packed. As on steep slopes, snow moves continuously.
Where and when do Snowstorms mostly occur?
You can usually find large amounts of snowfall in places like Utica, Detroit, Denver, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, NY, Toronto, And Mineppolis. Snowstorms are ususally only during winter, but can also occur in late Autum, and earls spring. Some have happend during Summer days, But that's Very rare.
What are Snowstorms?
Snowstorms are different varities of percipition only occuring at cold tempetures, Such as snow and sleet. Maybe even a rainstorm where the ground tempetures are cold enough to allow ice to be formed, And snow to stick to the ground.
How are Snowstorms formed?
Snowstorms are formed when hot and cold air collide. As the warm air rises the cold air settles underneath the hot air. If the area between the the clouds and the ground are below 40F then the snow will be be able to stick to the ground, And when so much snow falls it's called a Snowstorm.
